Since the Memorial Day death of George Floyd, a Minneapolis felon and drug user who died while in police custody, protests have raged all across America. In Portland, activists have infested the streets nearly every night, demanding the removal of monuments, increased police accountability, social justice, and the defunding of law enforcement. Portland’s leftist mayor, and several other Democratic mayors and Governors, are tacitly condoning this looting, arson, physical assault, statue-toppling, and murder – by refusing to take substantive action. But their silence encourages more violence. This isn’t the first time that such perpetrators have reared their subversive views in these United States. In 1968, when anarchists, hippies and other violence-prone demonstrators rioted in Chicago, then-mayor Richard Daley announced that he – with approval from the Governor, and then-President Lyndon Johnson – had ordered the cops, deputies, and national guardsmen, to “shoot to kill” such barbarians. It worked. But compare mayor Daley’s response with that of Minneapolis’s Democratic mayor and Minnesota’s Democratic Governor. Not only did they NOT prevent Minneapolis from being destroyed, but in the aftermath, Minnesota’s Democratic-controlled legislature passed a $130,000,000 tax hike to repair the damages. That’s insane, but it’s happening – because elected Leftists fear holding these dumb, berserk malefactors accountable; they side with them, and against the lawful taxpayers who pay their salaries.
But how does destroying businesses help the cause of Black Lives Matter? Many of the wrecked cafes, hair salons, pawn shops, and other establishments had employed, and/or were owned, by black people. Blacks also comprised a substantial portion of their customer base. Many BLM protesters are arrogant – yet, clueless – young whites, with degrees in Social Justice, bagpiping, Bangladeshi Literature, Lesbian Studies, and other useless majors. They’re angry, because they work as baristas or UBER drivers. Such fools won’t soon cease, but sometimes, they get burned. When a protester in Portland tried tossing a Molotov cocktail, things didn’t go quite as planned. After inadvertently setting himself aflame, he raced down the street. The fiasco was reminiscent of Michael Jackson and Richard Pryor – who, decades ago, accidentally set themselves afire. There’s a hilarious YouTube video of this incident, accompanied by Johnny Cash’s hit song, ‘Ring of Fire’. The fool basically dances, with moves which might be called the Molotov Shuffle, or the Hot foot two-step. The 1960s slogan of the radicals applies: “Burn, baby, burn.”
Such looters, arsonists, rioters and killers are actually feral people, whose existence burdens law-abiding taxpayers. So, how would lawful Americans NOT benefit from their eradication? To stop this nonsense, law-abiding US citizens should be allowed to carry a gun, and stand their ground, anywhere in America.
If the tormentors continue harassing their prey and become violent, then the victims can introduce such losers to a loaded gun. Where’s the downside? After all, when the lives and property of innocent, law-abiding US citizens are threatened, the would-be victims should be allowed, absent ANY negative legal consequences, to take out the trash. INNOCENT lives of lawful Americans matter, but hateful, culture-wrecking looters, arsonists, and murderers must be made to stop their mayhem – one way, or another.

That’s were you are an idiot. We don’t believe that is police brutality to shoot some one trying to kill an officer. Or when the “victim”, like Blake (victim of his own stupidity), has told the police he has a knife, then is reaching for it, wonder why he got shot.
I could tell you I am a millionaire. That doesn’t necessarily make it so. I would expect you would like to see some evidence of my wealth like a bank statement or portfolio. Just because someone tells you they have a knife doesn’t make it so. Why not wait to see if he does have a knife, request he drop it, and then, if he doesn’t AND advances on you, shoot him in the leg or arm. Don’t shoot him 7 times in the back and then try to determine if he had a knife.

Watch the video, when he was “getting in the vehicle”, he was grabbing something low, like on the floor by the seat. That is when the officer said “knife”, more than once. This is after Blake had an officer in a headlock, been tazed twice to no affect, officers tried to stop him opening the vehicles door, This is when Blake got shot.

Whenever I see a Blodgett column in The Des Moines Register, or in NorthIowaToday, or in the Globe-Gazette, or other publications, I have to ask myself what is wrong with people.
