RURAL CLEAR LAKE – Two teens were checked for injuries after an auto accident Friday morning outside Clear Lake.
The Cerro Gordo county sheriff’s office says the accident happened on Friday, May 29, 2020 at 10:32 AM. A 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt being operated by 18-year-old Kyra A. Miller of Clear Lake was traveling south bound on Finch Avenue on the north side of Clear Lake. She lost control of the vehicle at the curve on 270th Street. The momentum caused the vehicle to enter the south ditch and roll onto its top near a culvert opening.
Kyra and a 17-year-old passenger were evaluated at the accident scene for possible injuries by Clear Lake Ambulance. They were not transported to the Hospital.
The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Clear Lake Rescue.
