WEST UNION, IOWA – An Ames man is accused of driving off with gas and drunk driving in Fayette county.
On May 19, 2020 at approximately 10:45 PM, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a gas drive off from the BP in West Union. The vehicle was located and upon investigation 25-year-old Kayden Loughran of Ames was arrested and charged with Operating While Intoxicated 1st Offense, Driving while license suspended, and Theft 5th. The defendant was held at the Fayette County Jail awaiting an intial appearance and later posted bond.
