MASON CITY – The Cerro Gordo County Health department is developing a 12-18 month “long-term recovery plan” in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
Health department director Brian Hanft released a statement this morning, saying, “CG Public Health has started working on a 12-18 month long-term recovery plan. We are strategizing how to rearrange our schools, businesses, government offices, and general way of life to limit the spread and resume some sense of normalcy. Each business is different, which means not all approaches will work for everyone. We plan to create personalized, unique guidelines for these organizations. Once we have created these guidelines, we will working closely with Chambers of Commerce, city administration offices, and business representatives to develop best practices for use throughout our area. In addition, we are reaching out to our smaller communities to see what support they need. Our goal is create a new normal through guidelines that allows businesses and organizations to stay open, but limit the spread of COVID-19 until a vaccine is available.”
So far, there are over 1,000 deaths in the United States from Covid-19, the illness caused by the coronavirus.
Unemployment will pay 100% (some states differ). Then the fed is going to tack on $600 a week plus what the state gives out! Plus that $1,200 cronie check. Seniors should get it too. All said it a big payout for the little guy. How long? Get it while it lasts.

Let’s see, it would have still happened,Trump was hindered (by the Democrats) in shutting down air travel from China. China had already been “fighting” this for a couple of months before the world knew it was coming( bad China). We found out at the end of January, so that’s when they would have found out. Since then, everybody and their brother, has been trying to decode, and create a vaccine for this virus. I guess being a borderline mentally crippled liberal means you could have found a “cure”(it’s a virus) already.
When you pull your head out far enough that you can at least be mailed daylight, you might be able to function as a human being. In the mean time, please sit over there and be very quiet, the adults are working on it.

For the record (again), I think Trump is sort of a bully and an asshole.
He was a MUCH better choice than the Socialists, murderers,or drunks that were trotted out by the Democrats last election. He, overall, has done an admirable job, considering the toxic extreme (almost all) left have done everything to stop him.
If you bother checking outside the US, to get more unbiased news, not slanted so hard to the right or left. You will find that the narrative pushed by the media isn’t exactly(way far from) true. On the flip side, if you pay attention to what Trump tweets, a lot of the time he is making fun of liberals.
