ARLINGTON, IOWA – A Northern Iowa school employee has been arrested for sexual exploitation of teen.
After a month long investigation, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office filed charges on 29-year-old Joshua Raymond Brown of Lamont for, sexual exploitation by a school employee (4 counts) – a Class “D” Felony. Investigators from Fayette County and Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office were notified of a potential sexual encounter by a contracted school employee and a 16-year-old female student of Starmont school district in Arlington. Investigators found that a sexual relationship had taken place over the last two months. Brown has been employed by the school district for over seven years as a contract IT personnel. Brown turned himself into the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office early today on a warrant with a bond of $10,000.00 cash or surety.
Brown later bonded out and will be summons into court on a later date.

Seems there was a scandal years ago in a town close by. It involved school board members, coaches, broom closets, divorces, cover ups, etc etc. All were adults involved with the school system. Low moral with the children on a daily basis. Gee, it happened right here. Front and center. Statistics not included. Now average that out. The probabilities of children included are high. Human nature is your witness. Male/female. What does it matter.

You are full of it. First, he was an IT personnel worker which could be about anything in a school district that deals with technology. He may have never been in the school. With your logic, a 20 yr guy who mows the football field once a week has a 17 yr old girlfriend. Legally, he is guilty of sexual abuse of a minor – any LEO who knows of this relationship is legally bound to report it. You want to include him in the people who abuse children? Secondly, most sexual abusers of children are male. Stats show that. Women, as the abuser,make up a little more than 10% of all cases against boys. Less than that against girls. Males commit 86% of the crimes. Where do you get your misinformation?

If you actually read where your stats come from, it also states that those are not true numbers. Males are less likely to report being exploited, so those numbers under reported.

It stands to reason that their are more people involved in the school system than in the churches. So those priests charged with sexual predatory behavior in the past pale in comparison to what is happening in the schools. This is just the tip of the iceberg. And funny as it may sound the top sexual predator in schools is female. Just watch the national news. Two cases just last week. Multiple victims by two young female teachers.
