Women’s College Basketball: Mackenzie Meyer scores career-high 29 in Iowa, 100-72 win over Towson

PUERTO RICO – Mackenzie Meyer, a former Mason City Mohawk led the Iowa Hawkeyes to a 100-72 victory over Towson.

The Hawkeyes scored their first 100-point game since North Carolina Central (Nov. 17, 2018)

Senior Makenzie Meyer put up 29 points to break her career high.

Four Hawkeyes scored in double digits, including Meyer (29), sophomore Monika Czinano (12), and freshmen Monika Warnock (11) and Gabbie Marshall (11).

Iowa tallied 41 rebounds with Czinano and redshirt freshman Kate Martin leading with seven a piece.

Iowa plays its last game of the Puerto Rico Clasico on Sat., November 30 against Washington. Tip-off is at 11 a.m. (CT).
