PLYMOUTH – The county sheriff’s office executed a search warrant in Plymouth Wednesday evening.
Cerro Gordo County Sheriff Kevin Pals confirmed the law enforcement activity after a resident reached out to NIT for details. Sheriff Pals told NIT on Thursday, “The sheriff’s office did a search warrant in Plymouth last evening. No charges at this time.”
A Plymouth resident told NIT earlier Thursday, “it was very dark out. Not sure when they came but noticed them around 5ish and didn’t leave till about 8 (o’clock).
“It looked like a raid and they seized two truck loads but I didn’t see any arrests made,” the source continued. “It was right on Broad Street, (name redacted) is the person living in the house now.”
It appears the address was in the 1400 block of Broad Street. The sheriff’s office didn’t immediately respond to further questions.
