Search warrant executed in Plymouth Wednesday evening

PLYMOUTH – The county sheriff’s office executed a search warrant in Plymouth Wednesday evening.

Cerro Gordo County Sheriff Kevin Pals confirmed the law enforcement activity after a resident reached out to NIT for details. Sheriff Pals told NIT on Thursday, “The sheriff’s office did a search warrant in Plymouth last evening. No charges at this time.”

A Plymouth resident told NIT earlier Thursday, “it was very dark out. Not sure when they came but noticed them around 5ish and didn’t leave till about 8 (o’clock).

“It looked like a raid and they seized two truck loads but I didn’t see any arrests made,” the source continued. “It was right on Broad Street, (name redacted) is the person living in the house now.”

It appears the address was in the 1400 block of Broad Street. The sheriff’s office didn’t immediately respond to further questions.

It’s a pretty sad sad world we live in when the people who have been in the wrong have to come on an article that is about them post anonymously and try and justify there wrong doings. Clearly you did something wrong to have the cops knocking on your door with a search warrant. Weather it be drug related or other wise. I feel like people who live in the small town of Plymouth, have the right to know what’s going on in there small two . So the fact that no one knows the facts is sad to me. All I am saying is maybe best not to come on here and try and justify these action when I am sure the only people that are going to know that truth about what happened are the once that we’re there or live in that house and the cops that were there.

I find it funny that you are saying illegal drugs when the search warrant they were being served with had not a thing to do with drugs so please inform me as to why its ok for u to make accusations and assumptions I believe that makes u a shitty person to judge without knowing the actual truth and knowledge

I couldn’t argee more there is so much traffic in and out of that said house that its not even funny. playing loud music and always yelling over there. its about time they start doing something about it

And hilarious that u say loud music when the law enforcement actually asked them to play their sound system that they have for them im not sure that the law enforcement gives a hoot about their music they play was told about the search warrant and heard a recording pretty sure I remember hearing law enforcement say that the neighbors pry cant hear it and if they can they r far enough away from their house that neighbors could barely hear or be affected by the music they liked the system

Oh there neighbors can hear it. I am sure the cops don’t care they don’t have to hear it at all hours of the day. Even more funny that I am pretty sure the person saying shit you are the people that live in that house. Trust I will start calling the cops on the music and fighting seeing as you think it dose the bother your neighbors.

Tis the season. When the holidays roll around, the local law enforcement people ramp up their busts and arrests. Every. Single. Year.

When would you like them to do their JOBS? Please let them know, I’m sure they would be more than happy to accommodate your ideas.

Man, your thoughts are original.

Your thoughts are very criminal

Lots of illegal drugs over there. Always has been. Lack of law enforcement makes it easy they think.

We want names!

You already have a name, at least one that you go by.
