CHARLES CITY – A Missouri man, passed out in his car, was nabbed for drunk driving Tuesday night when a police officer in Charles City responded to a suspicious vehicle in the road.
The incident took place Tuesday, November 5 at 12:24 AM, when a Charles City police officer went to South Main and Gilbert Street intersection to investigate a suspicious vehicle. There, the officer discovered 24-year-old Coltin Roberts of Buffalo, Missouri, passed out behind the wheel of his car. As a result, Roberts was arrested for operating while intoxicated, no valid driver’s license, no seat belt, and stopping in the traveled portion of the roadway.
Roberts was taken to jail and soon released, pending a court appearance.
