WASHINGTON, D.C. – Iowa’s fourth district Congressman Steve King addressed the House of Representatives Saturday, speaking in favor of a resolution to censure the impeachment-crazed liberal from California, Adam Schiff, who apparently spoke some wild words about President Trump.
Congressman Andy Biggs introduced an updated motion to condemn and censure House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff for his false retelling of the conversation between President Trump and Ukraine President Zelensky during a recent Congressional hearing, for spreading alleged false accusations that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia in the 2016 election, and for allegedly concealing his dealings with the whistleblower from the rest of the Intelligence Committee and allegedly lying to the American public about it.
Congressman Biggs called for privileged consideration of this motion earlier this afternoon on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives.
Over 160 Members of Congress have cosponsored this motion, including Steve King.
Congressman Biggs issued the following statement:
“This week, all members of the U.S. House of Representatives will be put on record on Chairman Adam Schiff’s shameful conduct as a member of this distinguished body. Chairman Schiff deliberately misled the American people during a high-profile hearing last month, and he has persistently used his perch on a vital committee to spread falsehoods about President Trump. Chairman Schiff’s calculated words and actions over the past two years have brought this body into disrepute, and he must be held accountable. I urge all of my colleagues to condemn and censure Chairman Schiff to send a message that his reckless disregard for the truth will no longer be tolerated.”
Iowa’s Fourth District Congressman, Steve King, clearing seizing on an impeccable opportunity to own the lib’s, spoke on the House Floor Saturday in support of the resolution to censure Chairman Adam Schiff of California “for misleading the American people related to the ‘false retelling of the conversation between President Trump and President Zelensky’ he offered during the Intelligence Committee’s September 26 hearing.”
