DES MOINES – Sen. Bernie Sanders will lead the “March to End Corporate Greed” in Des Moines on Friday, November 1st.The announcement of the march follows Sanders’ unveiling on Monday of a new plan to end corporate greed and corruption. Bernie’s plan, the boldest and most comprehensive corporate accountability plan in modern presidential history, would ensure corporations pay their fair share of taxes, give workers an ownership stake in the companies where they work, end corrupt corporate mergers and break up monopolies.

Working Iowans and supporters from across the state will gather at the West Plaza of the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center for a short program beginning at 5:30 p.m. before the march to the Wells Fargo Arena. Following the march, Sanders will deliver remarks at the Iowa Democratic Party Liberty and Justice Celebration, and hold a party for workers and supporters with food, live music and special guests.

Sanders will return to Iowa on Wednesday, October 23rd and hold multiple events in the state.
