GRAFTON, IOWA – A man who was arrested in July on a felony charge after he allegedly delivered multiple facial fractures upon a person at the Grafton Community Center in June says he’s not guilty.
On June 30, 2019 the Worth County Sheriff’s Office took a report of an assault that occurred at the Grafton Community Center on June 20, 2019. The victim suffered three facial fractures and required six stiches to the face, according to the Worth county sheriff’s office.
On July 11, 2019, suspect Jordan Bursell was arrested on an outstanding warrant in relation to the assault. Bursell was charged with Willful Injuring-Causing Bodily Injury, a Class D felony. Bursell was booked into the Worth County Jail and held on a $5,000 bond.
In August, Burnell entered a not-guilty plea. He now awaits a jury trial set for October 30.
