ANAMOSA – A convicted Iowa murderer died in prison this week.
Roger Scott Sellers was pronounced dead due to natural causes at 9:09 a.m. yesterday morning in a hospice room at the Anamosa State Penitentiary where he had been housed due to chronic illness. Sellers was 51 years old at the time of his death.
Sellers had been serving a life sentence for the crime of Murder- First Degree from Polk County. His incarceration began on June 6, 1997. He shot and killed a woman in Grimes, Iowa back in 1997.
Classic takeover of a population. Take away their guns. This will not happen. Not now. Not ever in America. So get off my property. Don’t steal my sh!t. And don’t tell me what to think. I’m American. I’m cowboy. piss off.

A spear kills. An arrow from a bow kills. A sword kills. All weapons designed to take down prey. Man is a skilled predator. Perhaps the best. A gun is just one more hand tool in his bag of tricks. So shoot at a target all day long. For what. To practice taking down prey. Murder is a bad idea but none the less man is a predator. Perhaps the greatest killer of all time. And guns are his weapon of choice nowadays. So, sell more guns to a known killer with a long track record: Man.
Guns are dangerous. They kill. There are also many people out there with mental issues. Tragedy follows.
To stop an argument before it starts,I have never seen a gun jump up, go running out of the house, and kill some thing. I have seen people kill things using a tool(gun). Just like using a hammer to pound in a nail.
Guns don’t kill, people do! Some guy just knifed and killed a bunch of people the other day in California using a knife.
I do think that military-style rifles should be limited in magazine size. For those that want the military-style gun to own, then they should be regulated to an armory (non-governmental, of their choosing) where you go check them out to use and then check them back in when you are done.
The idea that we need AK-47 style weapons on the streets for everyday use is unnecessary.
