WASHINGTON, D.C. – Hillary Clinton called for gun control in America after two mass-shootings rocked the nation.

“With two mass shootings in America in less than 24 hours, thoughts and prayers are not enough. We need action,” Hillary Clinton pontificated via Twitter this week. Mass-shootings in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio left at least 29 people dead. Less-publicized was dozens of shootings in Chicago over the weekend that left several people dead.

“The House has sent common-sense gun safety legislation to the Senate, Clinton continued. Demand that (Mitch McConnell) @senatemajldr and your Republican elected officials join Democrats to pass it.”

Clinton, who easily defeated Donald Trump in the 2016 Presidential election popular vote (65,845,063 to 62,980,160) but was handily beaten in the Electoral College (304 to 227) continued to spout her almighty knowledge and possible abhorrence for the hallowed Second Amendment, saying “People suffer from mental illness in every other country on earth; people play video games in virtually every other country on earth. The difference is the guns.”
