RURAL WORTH COUNTY – An Albert Lea man was caught with drugs, paraphernalia and a long knife during a traffic stop late Wednesday night.
On July 24, 2019 at approximately 11:46 PM, a deputy with the Worth County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a Silver 1998 Honda Accord at the intersection of Highway 105/Mallard Ave.
As a result of the investigation, a search of the vehicle was conducted. Located during the search were pipes used for smoking marijuana and methamphetamine, marijuana, methamphetamine, and a large knife located on the driver’s person.
Rodney Anderson, age 55 of Albert Lea was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(Class D Felony), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)(Class D Felony) and Carrying Weapons (Serious Misdemeanor).
