Mason City man wins $10,000 lottery prize

MASON CITY — A Mason City man has won a $10,000 lottery prize.

Terry Williams claimed the first of 10 prizes of $10,000 available in the Iowa Lottery’s “Jewel Game Book” scratch game. He purchased his winning ticket at Hy-Vee, 2400 Fourth St. SW. in Mason City.

He claimed his prize on Thursday at the lottery’s Mason City regional office.

The Jewel Game Book a $20 scratch game that began sales this month. It features six pages of games, 10 top prizes of $100,000 and overall odds of 1 in 2.52.
