MASON CITY – A Mason City woman was arrested for drunk driving after citizens once again complained to law enforcement about her alleged operation of her motor vehicle.
Kristy Gaye Arzberger, age 59, was stopped on June 15, 2019 at about 7:05 PM in the area of 340th and Vine Avenue in Cerro Gordo county. According to Sheriff Kevin Pals, “a citizen called in a complaint on her driving.”
Arzberger was arrested on a charge of second-offense operating while intoxicated and taken to jail. She later posted a $2,000 cash bond and was released. She’ll face a July 16 hearing.
A suspected drunk driver who turned out to be Arzberger was called in on Saturday night, October 14, 2017 around 8 PM, near Thrush Avenue and 305th Street in rural Cerro Gordo county. “A couple of witnesses called the suspected intoxicated driver in and followed the suspect vehicle until deputies arrived,” Sheriff Kevin Pals told NIT after the arrest. After she was stopped and arrested, Arzberger later entered a guilty plea to first-offense operating while intoxicated and was fined $1,250 – but half was waived by a judge. She also completed drunk driving school and got a certificate of completion.
Arzberger was cited by Mason City police for first-offense operating while intoxicated for an incident that took place back on May 29, 2010. But, over two years later, in November of 2012, a judge dismissed the charge.
She looks horrible as a drunk. Her hair looks like a family of albino muscats love deep in the center of that mess. Either check in or check out!
She got herself in trouble again with the Iowa Supreme Court for misconduct. July 2019. Too bad it isn’t being reported on. I think it’s super embarrassing for her. Her nasty big mouth got her in trouble again. How does she keep getting away with so much? What happened with her drunk driving charge this summer? I have not seen anything else about it. She must have some information she has threatened to use against someone. I can understand a person protecting themselves or other people they care about against her. Using information to hurt people is what she does. She has made it her life not just her job to hurt other people’s lives. She doesn’t have morals like you would expect most people have. Most people don’t expect to cross paths with her kind. People don’t see life like she must view it. She has been able to get a lot of experience over time being the pig she is and she is good at it. everybody has secrets or makes mistakes or in some way are vulnerable. She is more than willing to do whatever she needs to do to damage other people. No matter how dirty, untruthful, or sick she has to be. She acts like she enjoys it, and is proud of herself. People pay her to be this way. There is something wrong with her that is incomprehensible to a lot people. She is a psychopath. She has to be in hell in her own mind. How can a person be such a dirty pig for so long, day after day, year after year, never change and feel good about themselves? she can’t be living life happily. maybe its part of the reason she has a drinking problem

Why make such a big deal about this? OWI’s happen all the time. What makes this such a big event? Though I do think that it’s great that all these perfect people (who don’t even have the courage to give their names when they decide to attack someone) take the time to comment. By the way, what’s that quote, “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone”? It’s so wonderful we have so many sinless people here in Mason City.

Kristy Arzberger knows a lot about anonymous, it is how she gets her dirty work done. Drunk driving is a serious crime. Drunk driving kills people. I hope Kristy stops driving drunk before she kills somebody. Kristy is relentless in making sure people get charged with crimes and are held accountable. She deserves the same.

it was based on the fact that shes rich and a lawyer. it was based on the fact that they (judges and lawyers) are corrupt and work together to ensure the streets always have criminals in them to keep themselves in a job. nothing mysterious about it. same old corrupt us vs them mentality. anyone in the court system around here or in city government is gonna get a break because cerro gordo is insanely corrupt.

Third DUI, not good, she needs to get help before she hurts herself or someone else. She is a darn good attorney. The previous break/warning they had given her apparently didn’t work. She needs professional inpatient treatment. I am simply gonna wish her the best towards finding good treatment and peace.

i concur, at least the majority of people take their drinking and driving out onto county roads. ever seen the sides of the roads around here? people who drink busch light are a bunch of losers that seem to really like drinking behind the wheel of their hick trucks, to hell with those of us that have an expectation of safety on our roadways. also yes she is damn hard to look at with that beach body and man killer face.
