Another Mitchell county business fined for serving alcohol to minors

DES MOINES – Another Mitchell county business has been fined for serving alcohol to minors, recently, after two there businesses were fined at about the same time.

On June 5, 2019, in Magistrate’s Court for Mitchell County, Iowa, the defendant, Haley Lyne Walters, pled guilty to, or was found guilty of selling, giving or otherwise supplying an alcoholic beverage to a person knowing or failing to exercise reasonable care to ascertain whether the person was under legal age. The violation occurred on or about May 3, 2019, Kwik Serve in Osage, Iowa. Kwik Serve was fined $500.00.

This fine was revealed after two other Mitchell county businesses were fined for serving alcohol to minors, recently: Americlnn and K & N Mini Mart Inc.

Stupid girl

A young employee, not properly trained, earning minimum wage is not at fault. Glad the business got nailed with the fine.
