City hall in small Northern Iowa town robbed; police seek suspect

VINCENT, IOWA – A man robbed a city hall in the small Northern Iowa town of Vincent this week and police are seeking a suspect.

The Webster County Telecommunication received a call at 4:27 PM of a robbery that had occurred at the Vincent City Hall. This had occurred approximately 1 hour earlier.

A young adult African American male entered and advised the clerk that this was a robbery. The male had long dreadlocks and was around 6 feet tall.

The robber locked the clerk in a back room and left with an undisclosed limited amount of money.

Through the investigation it was learned the offender was outside for a period of time and may be driving a small older car.

The investigation is ongoing and video is being obtained from various locations. A photo of the suspect is attached.

Webster County Crime Stoppers is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person involved.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Webster County Sheriff’s Office at 515- 573-1410.

He didn’t display a weapon and she still just did what the nig told her to? We need more concealed carry women this is Iowa for Christ sake. You could said he said something about rape so you blew his monkey brains out. Would have been the right thing to do. We need less adult black males in this country and especially in our area.
