RURAL CERRO GORDO COUNTY – Three people were treated for injuries after an accident in Cerro Gordo county Saturday afternoon.
On March 9, 2019 at about 3:37 PM, the Cerro Gordo Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a single vehicle rollover at mile marker 182 Southbound on I-35 just outside of Swaledale. A 2003 Honda Odyssey driven by 34-year-old Lue Moua of Denison was Southbound on 1-35 when it lost control. Passengers in the vehicle were 34-year-old Tria Xiong and 29-year-old Tong Lou Her both of Denison.
All occupants was treated by Rockwell-Swaledale EMT’s for minor injuries.
All subjects were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
The accident remains under investigation.
The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by Rockwell-Swaledale EMT’s, Swaledale Fire Department and Mason City Fire Medics.
