Osage educator arrested for drunk driving in Charles City

CHARLES CITY – An Osage man who is a school principal was recently arrested for drunk driving in Charles City.

On February 16, 2019 at 11:21 PM, officers with the Charles City police department conducted a traffic stopping the 700 block of Riverside Drive. As a result of the stop and investigation, 42-year-old Jay Dean Marley of Osage was arrested for first-offense operating while intoxicated after being stopped for a turning at intersection violation.

Marley was jailed and released, pending a court date set for March.  Marley is listed as the principal at Osage Middle School.

He must be a MAGA man or the yahoos on here wouldn’t be defending him.

Who cares? As long as he does his job according to the parameters of his contract, let it go. Some people have too much time on their hands and look for things to complain about. To them I say, “Get a life”.

Is a principal actually an educator though? More of an administrative position, hope he gets help and keeps his job.
