Gov. Reynolds signs historic education funding bills, adding nearly $90 million in spending

From the Governor’s office

DES MOINES – Today, Gov. Kim Reynolds signed HF 306 and HF 307, historic preK-12 education funding at the Iowa State Capitol surrounded by education advocates and students from North Polk Community Schools. HF 306 and HF 307 were the first bills Gov. Reynolds signed this year.

“This new education funding helps us get our young people ready for the challenges of a 21st century economy,” said Gov. Reynolds. “I commend lawmakers for their quick action on school funding this session, which will help school districts prepare for the next school year. Education is and will remain a top priority for my administration.”

HF 306 and HF 307 adds nearly $90 million in new money for preK-12 and it amounts to $19 million for transportation equity funding and $2.9 for per pupil funding. With this new legislation signed into law, the state of Iowa has invested $845 million of new money in preK-12 education since 2011.

Governor Reynolds was joined today by 5th grade students from North Polk Community Schools, their teacher Addison Mart and Superintendent Dan Mart.

These elected politicians have to bow to the Teachers union (largest in America) 97.5 of its members voted demorat last election – To get the votes they have to give the money – Sounds a little one sided to US.

“Forty one percent of respondents described themselves as Democrats while another 30 percent said they were independents.
27 percent were Republicans.”

“National Education Association (NEA), which comprises more than 3 million members, more than one in three who voted did so for Donald Trump.”

And, the Spend Sister’s will say that’s not enough.

I suppose the cost of indoctrination and feeding of illegal aliens keeps rising in pubic screwol . While the workers bend over and grab there ankles. Again.

845 million new dollars on top of the regular pile of money, and the results are?
Who is tracking the results?
When nothing improves we are going to?
Spend more of course.
If you can miss spend 2.2 million and nobody knows or cares, you have too much now

You know absolutely nothing about education. Did you know that the cost of goods and services have risen since 2011? Schools have to pay the people who provide those goods and services. If you have children, do you have to pay more for lunch at school than you did 5 years ago? Have school clothes gone up in price? If you have paid those increases, then you have a basic understanding of why schools need more money. It is called the cost of living.

Sure Bodacious. And if we got rid of the likes of you we would save a ton of money.

Oh Bodacious, I did just fine. Guaranteed I made a hell of a lot more than you ever did as General Manager of a 800 million dollar company. Reports are you are the absolute worse teacher in the Mason City system and should have been fired years ago. And, you would have been except for the union keeping your worthless ass on.

And, I know enough to know that if we got rid of non-essential overhead like you and most of the overhead and administrators there would be a lot of money left for the students. It is called reducing cost by reducing overhead. It is a staple of a well run business which is something that a parasite like you would know nothing about. I have forgotten more about how to run a business than you will ever know.

If you did so well as a White General Manager, why are you not rich like the rest of their administrative team? Did you blow all your retirement on frivolous things like a wall around your house?

You must have been the guy behind all the pollution in that dump site north of town. Did they have you crap out there every day?

Never was a G.M. with White. That was at the start of my career. I was a Supervisor. Lead Supervisor and Production/Inventory Control Coordinator. Then I went to another company where I was a Manufacturing Engineer, Then I was a CNC Supervisor, Plant Manager, Operations Manager, Q.A. Manager, World Manufacturing Manager, V.P. of Operations (Twice) Manager of Manufacturing Engineering, Then General Manager. What did you do in your career?
