Three arrested for meth crimes in Spirit Lake as children allegedly endangered

SPIRIT LAKE, IOWA – Three people were arrested for meth crimes in Spirit Lake as children were allegedly endangered during their ordeal.

On February 10, 2019, the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 1600 block of Erie Avenue in Spirit Lake. As a result of the raid, three people were taken into custody:

Heather Luehring (30) of Spirit Lake was charged with:
• 6 Counts of Child Endangerment (Class D Felony)
• Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine (Serious Misdemeanor)
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor)
Luehring posted a $5,000 cash/surety bond.

Roxann Peron (34) of Spirit Lake was charged with:
• Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine (Serious Misdemeanor)
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor)
Peron posted a $1,000 cash/surety bond.


Jarred Snedeker (27) of Spirit Lake was charged with:
• Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine (Serious Misdemeanor)
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor)
Snedeker is currently being held on a $1,000 cash/surety bond.

The DCSO was assisted by the Spirit Lake Police Department, and the Arnolds Park Police Department.
