WORTH COUNTY – Two men were caught with illegal marijuana in Worth county after a traffic stop on a foggy night.
On February 2, 2019, a Worth County Deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle for no taillights when the visability was low due to fog. The vehicle was a 1998 GMC Suburban driven by Jared Osmon and passenger Keith Gonnerman, both age 20. After further investigation, both subjects were found to be in possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and paraphernalia. Both subjects were placed under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Offense and Possession of Paraphernalia.
Gonnerman, convicted burglar, also had a warrant for his arrest out of Cerro Gordo County connected to a theft charge brought by Mason City police. He pled guilty on Feb. 4 and was ordered to pay $402.34 in fines and fees.
