DES MOINEs – Today, following the announcement of his candidacy for President of the United States of America, Senator Cory Booker released the following details about his first trip to Iowa. He will be in Mason City on Feb. 8 at 9:15 AM at a location to be named later.
The Iowa Rise Tour will focus on introducing Iowans to Senator Booker’s record of running towards challenges, when others had given up, and bringing people together to do big things and build a more fair and just nation for everyone.
Americans’ faith is shaken. Right now, folks fear that the lines that divide us are growing stronger than the ties that bind us. Senator Booker is running for president to change that. He believes that the answer to our common pain is to reignite our sense of common purpose to build a more fair and just nation for everyone.
