FLOYD COUNTY, IOWA – The Floyd county sheriff’s office announced the arrest of an armed Michigan man headed to Mason City possibly to deal heroin.
On December 31, 2018 the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle for speeding, 82 mph in a 65 mph zone on the Avenue of Saints near Charles City. The vehicle was enroute to Mason City.
During the stop, a deputy sheriff located a loaded .45 caliber handgun on the passenger seat. A subsequent search revealed a softball- sized amount of heroin. As a result, Keith Tucker, 50 of Detroit, MI was arrested.
Tucker was charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin and possession of contraband in a correctional facility after more narcotics were located.
He has now been indicted in Cedar Rapids Federal Court for conspiracy to distribute 100 grams or more of heroin, possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, and possession of a firearm as a drug user.
State charges will be dismissed as the case moves forward in Federal Court.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement.
Should have taken the CHAMBER OF COMMERCE free bus ride they are offering from chitcago/deadtroit to Mason on the Greyhounder – all expenses paid and a Iowa welfare check waiting for them – Illinois and Michigan are broke because of their welfare programs – but because Iowans want to work we have a surplus – the democraps know this and just transfers them to Iowa rural communities as they also do with illegal aliens.
