MANLY – Law enforcement executed a search warrant at a rural Manly, Iowa location and two people were accused of meth possession and taken to jail.
On Saturday morning, January 19, the Worth County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant in rural Manly. As a result of the search warrant authorities located narcotics and drug paraphernalia. Mark Urbatsch, 61, of rural Manly was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance- methamphetamine 3rd or subsequent offense, a class D felony, possession of a controlled substance- marijuana 3rd or subsequent offense, an aggravated misdemeanor and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor. Holly Low, 45, of Northwood was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine 1st offense, a serious misdemeanor, possession of a controlled substance – marijuana 1st offense, a serious misdemeanor and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor. Both Urbatsch and Low were booked into the Worth County Jail.
Assisting the Worth County Sheriff’s Office was the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit.

Worth county seems to have a plan. They do a swell job of busting their resident meth heads and keeping them in troubke and oit of quiet towns that is a good thing. Yet, when you go to the casino it’s fairly obvious that there is alot of strange behavior and drug activity taking place. Almost like they let it go when it produces massive anounts of revenue for the county and isn’t immediately putting lives at risk or deatroying a community. Seems…. Almost….. responsible and intelligent. Maybe neighboring pds could take a lesson and focus their time and energy on tweakers?
We are a little relieved that the getting rich meth producer moved from Manly to Kensett – rumor is there is a booger of interest in the sheriffs dept ?
If you know go ahead and spill some of the knowledge out, you don’t have to say who you are just put it out so people in Kensett can become aware of what is taking place in your nice little town. You want to know why drug dealers and drug makers are moving into rural towns is they know people are not going to say anything as you most likely are older and scared. Worth county and Manly have great departments and with all departments yes there could be a snake hiding ib the grass. Take a Chace and air what you got but be anonymous.
Waste of fricken time and money PD the county attorneys will slap them with a feather and tell them to go on their merry way, give them probation and a fine that will never be paid and see you in a few months. this is such a farce with people like this. Just a waste of time and wasted money.
