$2.2 million of improper disbursements identified in Mason City School District under former Superintendents Anita Micich and Mike Penca

MASON CITY – The Auditor of the State of Iowa today released a bombshell report that alleges  over $2.2 million of improper disbursements in the Mason City School District under former Superintendents Anita Micich and Mike Penca.

The Cerro Gordo County Attorney’s Office has been notified of possible crimes in the matter and the public awaits any potential actions by County Attorney Carlyle Dalen.

A source close to the Mason City School District told NIT this morning, “And now the public can understand why Mike Penca was not selected as the School Superintendent after Anita Micich left.  He was doing what Micich mentored him to do: Give himself and his top administrative staff Jodie Anderson and John Berg raises that the School Board did not approve.”

Auditor of State Mary Mosiman today released a report on a special investigation of the Mason City Community School District (MCCSD) for the period July 1, 2009 through August 31, 2017. The special investigation was requested by MCCSD officials as a result of concerns identified with the allocation of salary increases approved by the MCCSD Board of Education (Board) and contributions to certain tax-sheltered annuity (TSA) accounts. These concerns were communicated to the Office of Auditor of State during a meeting preceding issuance of the report on the reaudit of the District’s audit report for fiscal year 2015 issued August 21, 2017.

Mosiman reported the special investigation identified $2,238,952.08 of improper disbursements comprised of $108,673.24 identified in the report on the reaudit and $2,130,278.84 identified in this report. The $2,238,952.08 of improper disbursements identified includes $1,344,314.30 of contract salary issued to various MCCSD administrators, $217,405.64 for MCCSD’s share of FICA and IPERS on the improper payroll, $387,682.09 of MCCSD contributions to TSA accounts for various administrators, $171,998.36 for the resignation package awarded to the former Superintendent, Dr. Anita Micich, and $117,551.69 of vacation balance payouts to various MCCSD administrators.

The $1,344,314.30 of improper contract salary identified is comprised of actual salary issued to 66 employees which exceeded the authorized salary calculated using the percentage increases approved by the Board and other monetary benefits, such as vehicle allowances and cell phone allowances, awarded to employees without a provision in their contract and/or approval by the Board.

Mosiman also reported the Superintendent position held by Dr. Micich was shared between MCCSD and the Clear Lake Community School District (Clear Lake CSD) for the period July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2016. As part of that sharing agreement, MCCSD billed Clear Lake CSD for its portion of Dr. Micich’s salary and benefits. Based on a comparison of the percentage to be billed in accordance with the sharing agreement to the amount actually billed, $7,370.00 of overbillings from MCCSD to Clear Lake CSD were identified. Clear Lake CSD paid MCCSD for all billings received.

The report includes recommendations to strengthen MCCSD’s internal controls and overall operations, such as improving segregation of duties, ensuring all service contracts are reviewed and approved by the Board, reviewing various Board policies to ensure they are appropriate, complete, and properly followed. In addition, the Board, or a designated Board member, should perform an independent review of payroll to ensure approved salary increases are properly calculated and applied.

Copies of the report have been filed with the Division of Criminal Investigation, the Cerro Gordo County Attorney’s Office, and the Attorney General’s Office.

Statement from Dave Versteeg, Superintendent of Mason City Schools, on the Audit Report:

Auditor of State Mary Mosiman has released a special investigation report on the Mason City Community School District conducted for the period of July 1, 2009 through August 31, 2017. The special investigation report includes a summary of findings and recommended control procedures from the Office of Auditor of State to the District.

The special investigation was requested by the Board based on the findings and recommendations of the re-audit of the district released on August 18, 2017. This comes from the Board’s commitment to establish policies and to ensure open and accountable processes especially related to financial matters.

The investigation report is based on issues uncovered in the August 18, 2017 re-audit report. The results of this special investigation did not uncover any misappropriations after July 1, 2017. The core issues in the findings of the special investigation were corrected in July of 2017 as a result of the re-audit. The State Auditor confirmed that the district has taken appropriate corrective action.

Upon receipt of the Auditor of the State special investigation report, the district asked the Auditor to reconsider the following items before its release. The Office of the Auditor of the State indicated it was unwilling to meet these requests:

o The propriety of the superintendent separation agreement in 2016. The district contends that the separation agreement was appropriate based on the terms of the legally binding service contract with the superintendent and that no improper payments were made to the Superintendent as part of the separation agreement.

o The claimed overpayment by Clear Lake CSD for the superintendent sharing agreement between 2010 and 2015. Also, the district requested a review of all sharing agreements between the two districts during this same time period, but this request was declined.

o The use of the words “overpayment” and “underpayment”. Employees were paid only for work which they did perform. In the case of almost all employees whose names are listed, any errors in the payments which they received were due to procedural shortcomings on the part of the district and the State Auditor has acknowledged that these shortcomings have been corrected.

o The inclusion of the names of non-administrative employees who were improperly paid. Including the names of employees who had no decision-making power, influence or authority in determining their pay. These non-administrative employees were not the focus of the investigation.

o Payments to administrators who received $600 stipends in 2010. These payments were not made from the Phase II grant but were appropriately paid from the district’s general fund so as to keep administrator pay proportional to teacher pay in 2010.
“Providing quality education for ALL in a caring and responsive environment.”

A copy of the special investigation report is available in the Mason City Community School District Administrative Center, the Cerro Gordo County Attorney’s Office, the Iowa Department of Education, the Office of Auditor of State, and on the State of Iowa Auditor of State website at https://auditor.iowa.gov/reports/1530-4131-TOOZ.
The role of the Mason City Community School District Board of Education is to oversee the school district and to enact policy with the force and effect of law for the management and operation of the school district. The Board is taking responsibility to correct the issues uncovered and to ensure policies, state requirements, and best practices will be implemented and followed.

The Board of Education will hold its regular Committee of the Whole work/study session on Monday, January 7, 2018, in the Board Room of the Administrative Center located at 1515 S. Pennsylvania Ave., at 5:30 p.m. The Board will discuss the special investigation report in open session at this meeting and welcomes questions and comments from the public during this agenda item of the meeting.

NIT will report further on this matter in coming days and weeks.

FIRE THE BOARD NOW

Save one wag of your finger for yourself. School board meetings are open to the public (you). Documents they produce are available to the public (you). The public (you) can FOIA documents that a public entity refuses to hand over. School bard members are elected by the public (you).

Then, there are those the public (you) vote for to represent your interests on the school board. When the public (you) engage your elected representatives at school board meetings and/or via email-phone calls, etc., you learn more and hold them accountable.

1. Those who perpetrate a fraud should be held accountable – claw back their illegitimate gains – perhaps face legal liability;
2. Those elected to create policy and provide oversight should be held accountable at the ballot box – in the court of public opinion, and if complicit in the fraud – in the court of legal justice;

And, in the end, save a single finger wag for yourself as you have the responsibility to be engaged.

All kids in MC should be home schooled that would help out the tax payers and the kids would get a better education. Plus no admin would get rich off of the tax payers.

Question: I’m wondering how former Superintendent Micich kept the Mason City Board of Education distracted? Did she place video games in the board room, card games, arts & crafts, sing songs, food, drinks of all sorts, did she hire clowns to keep the Mason City Board of Education occupied while she wove her crooked, evil, misdeeds? Asking for a friend.

I imagine this, with a little knowledge of the situation. First, Micich goes back and forth from MC to Clear Lake, Board Members are regular citizens and do not have offices at School. Some former Bd. Members were not willing to look at the possibility of wrongdoing and or just plain naive. There were so many lackeys surrounding Micich in Administrative positions, it was like they were co-conspirators. Micich, with her flamboyant personality, had people fooled.
Most Board Members have no training or background in accounting or finance. They have a fiduciary responsibility to protect the Taxpayers dollars, but as I stated, few Bd. Members had the knowledge. When the community finally voted for a Financial Expert, Jodi Draper, she took her responsibility seriously in reviewing the financials, board meeting minutes and related materials. And due to the Audit, we are where we are now. That ‘s just one opinion, but it seems logical.

Re: “I imagine this” Cry me a River. I have been on a board of directors, too. You don’t need an office to look into things. Furthermore, if the good people of Mason City are able to read the state auditor recommendations so can any board member. You don’t need a finance degree to be on the MCCSD Board of Ed. What is needed is someone that cares enough to actually take the time to read the reports. And, when they have questions—seek answers.
Please , don’t let them try to sell you a worthless bill of goods that it wasn’t their fault. Board members have a fiduciary responsibility.

Matt, Publisher, North Iowa Today, a large part of this being brought to light is due to your help and assistance with shining a light in some very dark places and practices that were/are happening. We can’t thank you enough.

From what I can see, there are only two Board Members left that are either naive or Micich insulators. And one of them is a School Voucher and Betsy DeVos supporter. Believing that it is ok to use our tax dollars for private schools and home schooling. I have always seen that a conflict of interest. Thank goodness his best friend lost in the last election or there would have been two Alt-Right, Evangelical, Fundamentalist, Hypocritical, gas bags on the Public School Board of Education.

Let’s have some names.

P. S. You sound like a teacher.

Figure it out..I had to do research to put it together. And no not a teacher now or ever. Retired.

Iowa code Section 11.9:

“The audit of school
districts shall include an audit of all school funds including categorical funding provided
by the state, the certified annual financial report, the certified enrollment as provided in
section 257.6, supplementary weighting as provided in section 257.11, the revenues and
expenditures of any nonprofit school organization established pursuant to section 279.62,
and entrepreneurial education funds established pursuant to section 298A.15. Differences in
certified enrollment shall be reported to the department of management. The audit of school
districts shall include at a minimum a determination that the laws of the state are being
followed,…”

Who is/was the Districts auditors? How was this missed for all these years? How much did we spend on these audits?

This greedy bitch Michci ever come back to here she will need a arm guard to get out alive.

They need to throw the switch on this ugly bitch.

Heave ho

Only on the tax payers dime can you work 2 full time jobs and work 30 hours per week

These are like the liberals (Obama era) that said they shipped 1.5 BILLION dollars in CASH to IRAN – Yea right ! If the socialist rulers of Iran received 1.5 million in cash they were lucky – The good old boys and women of the DNC became multi millionaires overnite.

Just another reason why not to live in Mason City lack of leadership brain dead people complete Crooks con-artists hopefully someone does jail time

You are right on worthless city.

Jodi Anderson oversaw all off the payroll as part of HR and allowed this to happen and now is suing the district/taxpayers because she doesnt think she got her fair share? Jodi oversaw this in her role and said nothing, but now wants to sue for more? Are you kidding me?

Well look at the list obviously she didn’t get her fair share since she is near the bottom or next to the bottom. Yet, the board is only asking for her to return the wages. No, Ms. Anderson deserves her day in court. Obviously, she is being related against for filing a grievance.

How is Joel Everest not in the mix with having a conflict of interest working at full time at a local college while working full time at MCHS? He was Anita’s pet. Biggest ass kisser around. They (Anita and Joel) went on school trips together and got along oh so well. Talk about a contract violation. It is amazing what is overlooked by the administration with pets.

Jodie was hired in 2015 and left in 2017 In 2 years of employment and was over paid by 11 thousand I say she did pretty well that is an extra 5.5 a year I am pretty sure that helped out 5.5 thousand is a lot of money extra a year.

Retaliation? That’s rich. She was the leader for HR and allowed over 2 million of excess wages to be paid. Is she going to argue that she was competent?

Now they are trying to blame the whole two million plus on Ms. Anderson. Now that’s a hoot! Only two years with the district but this whole mess is her fault. I’m thinking we need to pay close attention to what this lady has to say about MCCSD.

I seem to recall MCCSD trying to place all the blame on
Mr. Jon Berg, too. And, when Penca was asked by the board to step in to cover as a temporary Superintendent and as a thank you, they blamed him also. Wow!!!!

If the school board is being advised to smear its workers who have grievanaces by whomever, it’s not working. It’s coming across very poorly. It’s vitial that the board takes it lumps and admit their failure with giving so much power to a Superintendent and her little helpers, the Assistant Superintendent, good ol’ Hal Minear, and the head of all the school finances Ramona Jeffrey. Ramona without so much as a fiancé degree yet was the highest paid in the entire state of Iowa. And of course, with Mason City being the only school district of our size to even have an Assistant superintendent.

I see we are making headlines all around the region. What a positive way to make Mason City appear to be a great place to live and work.

The board of 2015 turned it in. Jodie stole money just like Berg Just like Penca Just like Micich and just like Ramona. You may like her but she followed suit and took money not presented for the board to vote on. And for the public to know it was being paid. That is stealing public funds. She is a criminal just like the rest weather u like it or not. I hope federal charges are pressed. I hope she is the first to get arrested.

I absolutely agree. Anyone who took funds improperly should have to pay it back with charges filed. Complaints filed with the BOEE. Even if it was a legitimate clerical error the funds need to be paid back. But for MCCSD Board of Ed. to selectively decided this one should pay and these don’t have to, in my opinion, gives creedance to retaliatory claims. Hasn’t MCCSD Board of Ed. taken enough black eyes for “supposedly” burying their heads in the sand?

I’m very skeptical that a board member who was a past economics teacher for the school district couldn’t figure out spread sheet reports or read and decifer yearly audit reports? Did he even read them? And what about the other board business leaders? I’m truly scratching my head. Things are just not adding up.

Up until the last few years, the board was asleep at the wheel and operated more like a social club. They didn’t keep a good check on the school administrators and when challenged at school board meetings, were not responsive to the public. A new board changed all this, the public wised up and new responsible board members where voted in. Thus, all these discoveries. The school officials had all kinds of local support including from local media, especially the Globe Gazette.
It took a lot of change on the board before corrective actions were taken. I hope anyone that knowingly cheated the taxpayer is punished to the fullest extent of the law. It is very hard for me to believe that the administrators, Finance Director, HR director didn’t know exactly what they were doing. I just hope our country attorney is aggressive on this one. There is a school official in Waukee I believe sitting in a jail cell right now after an investigation showed he improperly spent public money. Same should apply here.

This will be the biggest misjustice if the people responsible for this misappropriation of public school funds are not charged with appropriate crimes! Ongoing criminal activity, theft, conversion of funds. White collar crime, same result as a bank robber only they used a rubber stamp!

It’s not adding up that the MCCSD Board of Ed had NO knowledge of ANYTHING— They apparently gave Micich, carte blanche.

The state auditor seems to smell something is very off too to make a note such as this: “Finally, the report urged the board to “exercise due care” when making any decisions that would affect the school district as a whole.”

And, MCCSD Board of Ed. is objecting to this? The School Board is effectively saying we reserves the right to continue on as we please at the district/community’s expense.

Why did they pay Micich off and give her glowing recommendations? Also, AGREEING to NOT go after her litigation wise?

One has to ask themselves, why did the MCCSD School Board not let Micich continue on with her final year and simply take the option of not renewing her contract? Then take full recourse.

Also, why do they not want to pursue any overpayments that were made and expect them to be paid back? (After all, these amounts could be retracted through any IPERS, Stocks & Mutual Funds that are apart of these individual’s contracts, besides simply garnishing their wages.)

Why would they want to continue employment with people who received more than $10,000 in overpayments and benefits that they were not entitled to? Why not simply NOT renew each of their contracts?

Zeroing out the books with purchase orders and bonuses is “cooking the books” and then the audacity of telling the public they are in dire need of more funding.

It would seem to be a logical conclusion that MCCSD Board of Education may very well have more skeletons (or a lot more) that they are worried will come to light.

I sincerely hope the DCI investigator(s) do a thorough investigation of all the dirty little deals that appear to be coming to light. (I also hope there is a team of DCI investigators because there appears to be a lot of sh- – to wade through.)

I was really hoping to see Joel Everist part of this. He and the piano playing wife still get paid way too much.

How is it that Joel Everist is able to be full time choral director at Waldorf College and still be employed full time in the MC School District. Aren’t his contract hours around 8am-4pm? How is he able to work full time at a college as well?

The people who voted Republican in Iowa over the past few years can answer that. The Iowa House, Senate and Governor are all Republicans. Last year they reduced bargaining rights of teachers (and other public employees) and are allowing school districts to conduct their hiring as they see fit. If they really want an employee on their faculty, they can offer extras such as reduced hours or increased pay. Everist is respected in his field and nationally recognized. Perhaps MC wants to keep him and this is a way to do so. He probably isn’t overpaid.

MC schools is in their 2nd year of their 2 year contract so they can NOT offer reduced hours….. so Mr. Everist has no businsss nor right to be allowed to leave the high school early to go to Waldorf.

Sue them

Spot on.

How exactly do you know this? “Mr. Everist has no businsss nor right to be allowed to leave the high school early to go to Waldorf.” You must be a school employee. Jealous?

Bahahaha! Joel Everist is “nationally recognized” and yet is employed by Waldorf college. No doubt because Micich helped him obtain this position as she was on her way out. No doubt, Joel sees the writing on the wall. He has a great media writer though.

Lol Micich loved Joel Everist. Joel will be out in a year or two, he knows his time will be done.

Without Joel Everist’s wife, (who works diligently and silently behind the scenes) he wouldn’t even have a job.

While that is true, don’t you think she is paid a little too much for her piano playing gig? Custodians, Paras, Lunch workers and others don’t get paid as much as she does.

How in the hell did Randy Meyer get so much money when he is only a manager for transportation and grounds?? someone needs to question all these guys one on one and ask them when they will pay it back. F**KEN crooks…

Ummm, Randy was the one who went to a school worker (who was hurt while on the job) doctor(s) and demanded to see his medical records file. I’ll let you connect the dots from there as to how this huge overpayment came about.

But the MCCSD Board of Ed. had no idea any of this was taking place.

Amen! I agree completely. The people of Mason City have been clearly lied to and apparently MCCSD are flush with cash to not be asking for repayment from Micich’s cronies.

Did you see the picture of Micich throwing her hands in the air for joy- just my opinion, but she was probably thinking”Hot Damn! I’ll get to line my pockets even more.” As Hal Minear shakes his head greedily.

Mason City – Ya got trouble with a capital “T” and that rhymes with “P” and that stands for Penca. (Mike and Anita Micich)

The Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation is investigating the Mason City Community School District after a state audit identified more than $2.2 million in “improper disbursements” from 2009 to 2017.

Ummmmm? Yeah, we know.

…there is a reason Anita is smiling in her picture…she has “stuck” it to us again! Guess I’ll go get the Vaseline!

Hahaha! Mason City tax payers all need to buy a stock pile of Vaseline.

One question no one has asked: Who was board president during a lot of this?

Not just the Board President they need to list all the board members names who served under Micich reign of power.

The entire school should torn down and kids shipped to outlaying districts that run a tighter ship.

Must be nice to be able to say something that stupid anonymously (enter irony here). Man (or woman) up when saying something in public

You sir are a joke always backing up this worthless city. The whole city should be torn down and it’s leaders past and present put in jail.

Where would you live with the mens shelter gone?

In your house I would kick you out lol.

How about we put you in jail for allowing them to do it by voting them in year after year.

Idon’t live in this pos city hense I don’t vote them in.

Why do you care then you loser.

I love North Iowa but MC is really wrecking the area. That is why I hate the school and city. Crime has come to the area the city is a eye sore and even it’s tv station moved out on them. Plus I worked in the city yrs ago and the supervisors in every job I had were jerks just caring about themselves and not the workers.

From the Iowa State University catalog Someone should look into how she got hired. What class(es) did she teach?

MICICH, ANITA

Clinical Assistant Professor of School of Education. B.M.E., 1970, M.S.E., 1979, Drake; Ed.D., 1993, Vanderbilt.

Parents of students can submit to the Iowa Board of Education an “ethic(s)” complaint(s) regarding people who converted funds for their own use.

http://www.boee.iowa.gov/complaint.html

Example: Anita Marie Micich,
Folder Number: 13722

You can search for any administrators license. As individuals, you can file complaints regardless of what the Mason City Board of Education does.

Knowledge is Power.

These government agencies and their rubber stamp boards are a scam with no check and balances until it’s too late. Whenever, you hear the phrase we use “best practices” you know you the tax payer is taking it up the ass !!

Matt;

Did you get any response from Flagstaff’s Board yet? Would make an interesting read.

Matt,
A similar email needs to be sent to Iowa State University regarding Anita Micich and where TJ Jumper is now working…I think Ankeny…not positive. I would love to hear their responses.

T.J. Jumper does not work for Ankeny Schools! Works for Heartland AEA. He is assigned to : Districts: Boone, Colo-NESCO, Madrid, Nevada, Ogden, United
Non-publics: Sacred Heart, Trinity Lutheran

Just sayin…

When can we expect the re-payment? Or am I naive in thinking that those involved will pay back what they did not deserve?

You think Iowa State University will have second thoughts about keeping Micich? And exactly how will Flagstaff’s Board react to Mike Penca’s behavior?

The main question that has been asked of the BOEE is what constitutes an “instance of disciplinary
action?” After consulting with members of the committee who wrote this bill, the BOEE has determined that the employee discipline that must be reported to the BOEE includes written reprimands, written warnings, job separation agreements, resignations, nonrenewals, or terminations that resulted from employee misconduct covered by the mandatory reporting areas. The mandatory reporting discipline areas are listed below:
(a) Soliciting, encouraging, or consummating a romantic or otherwise inappropriate relationship with a student.
(b) Falsifying student grades, test scores, or other official information or material. (c) Converting public property or funds to the personal use of the school employee.
(d) Being on school premises or at a school-sponsored activity involving students while under the influence of, possessing, using, or consuming illegal drugs, unauthorized drugs, or alcohol.

N.B., See (c)

The LIBERALS were in charge till the new Superintendent came in, i. e. Mr. Versteeg.

Oh, give it a rest. They were all Republican conservatives and everybody knows it.

Anita Micich, Hal Minear and Ramona Jeffrey were the top three crooks in their dirty little schemes. The top administration need to have fraud charges (cooking the books) brought against them. However, every single one of the people listed need to repay theses funds and also need to be fired for being so loyal to the crooked top three. I would like to know how the school board plans to recoup these funds? Court legal actions need to be filed on every single one of them. Something tells me they board members will throw up their hands and say what can we do while shrugging their shoulders. The monies need to returned and the top three retirement IPERS need to be stripped from these individuals. As well as their administrative licenses suspended for one and all that participated. Right is right and they all failed to stand up to the Superintendent Micich. Now the time for the Mason City Board for Education to redeem themselves but will they?

So for example, Jennifer Wilmarth, a secretary at the high school, got over $78k illegally. This a big amount and she and all the others should have to pay it back + interest and fines and be charged for their CRIMES!

Absolutely, Anita Micich had her do payroll and benefits. Fired! And whythe lot has not been fired is beyond me.

Lock her up.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
now this is funny!!!~

it aint to me, I work for a living and they are waisting my money

hard to believe the school system would bilk us out of millions

The system did not milk you out of your money, Anita did, Mike did, Ramona did, John did and Jodie Anderson did. They are the ones to be angry with and you should be they took what was not theirs to take and our children and teachers suffered for their greed. Oh isn’t Jodie trying to get more money suing the school that she was not treated well? Oh please get it right the people stole from you not the district or the system the people and they should be named and they should be charged.

When are Clear Lake’s books going to be audited. Same thing probably going on there.

These crooks need to pay it back and then have charges filed against them just like the administrator did down in Waukee School District, F**K the school system for wanting to give the Administration a raise, They can kiss my ASS. Enough is Enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the tip of the iceberg!!!! The DCI should review the Mason City Chambers financials (business trip that are really personal vacations) and all government spending. Someone needs to report them to the proper orgininzation and get this same audit/review process going.

these things happen when the taxpayer is funding a unlimited budget

Jeff Horner was correct after all

Yep, he was right, right in leaving this town. Hope he neeever comes back!!!

quit whining and go make more money so these people can take it away, you have to work a little longer or their not going to have enough

have you looked at all the wages? Huge! Benefits? Huge. Who else gets this type of pay working 8-9 months a year?

You have no idea what you are talking about and never have. The school year starts in the middle of August and ends early in June. Most teachers either work a second job or return to school to increase their understanding of the subject matter or the student. As far as “huge” benefits and wages for the work, who else is entrusted with protecting and instructing our children? Not just one or two at a time, but 30-35 per hour for 8 hours a day. Baby sitting that many kids a day would pay at least twice what the current teachers receive. You think it is such an easy job, why didn’t you get into it?

By the way, did you notice that all the raises or improper payments went to administrators, not teachers? That is called comprehension something you obviously lack.

Not only were these administrators overpaid, there are way to many of them for the number of school children today. I somewhat agree that some teachers are underpaid, but some are way overpaid too.

School boards now have the legal right to set salaries as they choose as the majority of the collective bargaining agreement between the teachers and the state has been removed. If you don’t think a teacher is earning an amount he or she deserves, then the board can do something about it. If you think a teacher is paid too much, take your reasons to the board and ask them to do something about it.

What were YOUR raises during the periods in question?

Your statement; “By the way, did you notice that all the raises or improper payments went to administrators, not teachers? That is called comprehension something you obviously lack.” This is false on the surface. I know damn well you received raises.

There is an old saying. A fish rots from the head down.

3% or less (average 2%). Offset by rising insurance costs every year. It has been that way since the early 2000’s.

And yet they want more money for administrative raises. Hell NO!

Meanwhile teachers still feed and clothe some of the poorer students out of their own pockets.

Source? Me.

Why am I not the least bit surprised to find Anita caught up in this?

And the LIBUFFOONS like to call the opposition Republicrooks. Looks to me like DEMICROOKS would be more appropriate. Libs always accuse others of what they’re doing.

Where are the posts from the teacher class?

Jail time is needed. Complete scum

Jail time and restitution! Seize their assets, they won’t need them in the big house!
