NORTHWOOD – Police caught three people in connection to a raid on a residence in Northwood, resulting in drug charges.
On November 17, 2018 at approximately 11:27 AM, deputies with the Worth County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant at the residence of 906 3rd Ave N in Northwood. As a result of the search, several items of drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription pills unaccompanied by a valid prescription, and a handgun were seized from the residence among other items.
As a result of the search warrant, three people were arrested:
23-year-old Joya Salzkorn of Hartley, IA was taken into custody and charged with unlawful possession of prescription pills, possession of a controlled substance (2nd Offense)(marijuana), possession of a controlled substance (2nd Offense)(methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

27 year old Sara Fenske of Northwood, IA was taken into custody for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance (2nd Offense)(marijuana), and possession of a controlled substance (2nd Offense)(methamphetamine).

22 year old Taylor Pohar of Milford, IA was taken into custody for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance (3rd or subsequent offense)(marijuana), possession of a controlled substance (3rd or subsequent offense)(methamphetamine) and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
