Mason City man jailed after narcotics task force raids house

MASON CITY – A Mason City man was arrested after the local narcotics task
force raided a house.

On November 7, 2018 at about 1700 hours, the Mason City Police Department, the Cerro Gordo County Sheriffs Office and the North Central Iowa Narcotics Task Force went to 334 9th St NE in Mason City, Iowa. Officers were assisting Lake Mills Police Department with a missing person and possible assault case. Officers located a missing 29-year-old female and transported her to North Iowa Mercy Medical Center.

Officers were assisted by the North Central Iowa Narcotics Task Force Special Operations Group in arresting Kristofer Voigt, age 38, of Mason City. At about 9:27 PM, Voigt was arrested on two arrest warrants for Violation of Pre Trial Release and Violation of Parole.

Voigt was taken to and held at the Cerro Gordo County Jail.

Officers were assisted by the Mason City Fire Department.
