MINNEAPOLIS – A person was robbed and assaulted Sunday by 8-10 men at the University of Minnesota campus, authorities say.
On Sunday, October 28th, the University of Minnesota Police Department responded to a robbery that occurred at approximately 1:50 a.m. near Ferguson Hall on the West Bank. The victim, a University of Minnesota Twin Cities student, was walking when they were approached and pushed down by a group of 8-10 males, two of which were riding bicycles. The suspects physically assaulted the victim, stole their backpack and damaged their iPhone. No weapons were implied or observed and the victim received minor injuries. The victim described the suspects as Hispanic males in their teens and 20’s.
