Worth county sheriff warns of fake currency in the area

NORTHWOOD – Law enforcement in Worth county warns of fake currency floating through the area.

According to the Worth county sheriff’s office, on Wednesday October 24, 2018, the Worth County Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding counterfeit $50 bills being passed at businesses throughout the county. The Sheriff’s Office wants people and businesses to be aware of this and to do the proper checks to verify that a bill is not fraudulent.

You should call your local law enforcement agency if you encounter fake money.

Dan Fink is a great cop and he will do a great job in Worth County. I support him 100%

also fake elected official in the land grab business should be noted..
