Northern Iowa woman busted for meth exposure on three kids

PALO ALTO COUNTY – A Northern Iowa woman was busted this week for meth exposure on three kids.

On October 11, 2018, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office contacted the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office reference a valid Palo Alto County Arrest Warrant for 36-year-old Samie Jean Royster of Ruthven, Iowa. Clay County Deputies had taken Royster into custody and arrangements were made for transport of Royster. The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office transported Royster to the Palo Alto County Jail where she was served a valid arrest warrant for a Controlled Substance Violation, 3 counts of Child Endangerment (Meth Exposure), Failure to Affix Drug Stamp, and 6 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Royster was also served an arrest warrant for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Royster was unable to post the total bond of $25,300.00 cash or surety and was placed in jail to await her initial appearance before a judge.
