On September 15, 2018 at 3:20 PM, a traffic stop was conducted by a Worth County Deputy on a black 2000 Chevy Blazer for a broken windshield. The driver of the vehicle identified, as Calvin James Lloyd Myhre of Mason City, Iowa who did not have a valid driver’s license.
Myhre was placed under arrest, transported to the Worth County Jail, and charged with driving under suspension.
Unlicensed drivers are not nearly close to being scary. Think about all your senior citizen parents out there changing lanes randomly. Not using signals. Stopping short or riding their brakes for 500 yds. Driving 15 under the limit wondering why you’re yelling at them flipping them off. Parking 8 ft from the curb or almost running over pedestrians. If this guy wanted to help anyone he’d be out pulling licenses off ppl over 70. Id rather have five drunks on the highway with me than one old person. A broken windshield is just an excuse for a lazy cop to write a ticket for no reason .
Talked to some people the other day – seems the horse bleeders are setting up operations not far from Bartz’s casino again this fall – goulish people and an evil operation – google it -turns your stomach.

If you are stopped for the treaded equipment violation, than the only ticket that can be written should be for that violation!
Equipment violations or alledged violations are nothing more than a free pass for law enforcement to make a stop without cause
If you have an equipment violation, an officer of the law has legal rights to stop you. If you are dumb enough to drive a vehicle with equipment violations, and don’t have a drivers license/insurance/registration, you deserve to be arrested. If you are dumb enough to drive with said violations and are owi, or have illegal drugs in your possession, then you really deserve to be arrested. Help keep all alcoholics and drug dealers off the streets.
Maybe you’re just an asshole. All fees associated with vehicle’s are just a shameless way for the state to get money for nothing. Registration traffic tickets all of it is a scam. If he had a cracked window maybe he was saving to get it fixed. Expensive, now he has an unnecessary ticket that’s also expensive. You don’t want him to drive to work how does he pay fines and fees for repairs! The ticket is more money taken away from getting a license or new windshield. THe ticket is a problem that complicates a person’s life. If you got such a personal problem with it buy the guy a windshield and pay his fines and help him get his license. Now where the hell do you make the jump from broken windshield to alcohol and drugs? Maybe you need some drugs to calm your goofy dumbass down a bit. You seem based solely on this comment like a very uptight self absorbed mouthy little person. I hope you just had a moment where you had a little guy of stupid and you’re not like that all the time.

…glad this guy was stopped and cited! Having said this try to think of the hundreds of other drivers out there…with no licenses…who aren’t being caught…yet! Scary isn’t!
It isn’t just no license. They also drive with no insurance and one I know of drives with four kids in the van, makes u-turns in the middle of the road and thinks she is driving a drag race.
