ACKLEY, IOWA – Two North Iowa residents have been charged with felony kidnapping, a county attorney announced today.
According to Hardin county attorney Darrell G. Meyer, on July 18, 2018, 39-year-old Traci Lynn Tyler and 30-year-old Alex Craig Shadlow of Ackley, Iowa were charged by preliminary complaints with the crime of Kidnapping in the First Degree, a Class A felony. Traci Lynn Tyler and Alex Craig Shadlow are in custody in the Hardin County Jail on $500,000 cash only bonds. Initial Appearances are scheduled for July 19, 2018, in Hardin County.
The criminal investigation in this matter was conducted by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation with the assistance of Ackley Police Department, Hardin Sheriff’s Office and the Hardin County Attorney’s Office.
