Democratic candidates who want to beat Steve King this November to debate tonight in Mason City

MASON CITY – Possible Democratic opponents of Congressman Steve King will be in Mason City tonight to square off in a debate.

Cerro Gordo County Democrats will be hosting the 4th District Democratic Candidate Debate Wednesday evening, May 23, 2018. This event will be held at the Masonic Temple Association of Mason City, located at 304 1st Street Southeast in Mason City.

All Democratic candidates running for the 4th District seat will attend the event. They are Leann Jacobsen of Spencer, J.D. Scholten of Sioux City, and Dr. John Paschen of Ames.

The Iowa primaries are set for June 5.

Steve King, a Republican, has been in Congress since 2002. Election day is Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
