IOWA CITY – A man is facing a range of charges after he was caught this weekend masterbating as he spied on youngsters in an Iowa City locker room shower.
Locker rooms in Iowa can be weird places with all sorts of hijinks going on, and this weekend, a man was allegedly in one for reasons other then getting clean. According to a police complaint, 36-year-old Brian Timothy Shepherd of Washington, Iowa was in the University of Iowa rec center located at 309 S. Madison Street in Iowa City Sunday afternoon. Allegedly, he was staring through a crack in the door at a number of juveniles in the shower when he began masturbating.
As a result, Shepherd was arrested and charged with indecent exposure, child endangerment and invasion of privacy. He was jailed and soon released, pending a court date.
