Steve King blasts pro-life organization for not supporting his ‘heartbeat’ bill

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Iowa Congressman Steve King, a known champion for the unborn, this week blasted an alleged pro-life organization for failing to support his bill that proclaims a fetus with a beating heart is a person.

Last month, Congressman Steve King introduced “The Heartbeat Bill,” legislation that would require physicians to detect the heartbeat and prohibit the abortion of a baby with a beating heart. The bill has had support from conservatives and many pro-life organizations.

However, one notable outfit has allegedly refused to sign on with support – National Right to Life – and Congressman King has taken notice.

On February 5, 2018, Congressman King spoke on the House floor to express his disappointment in National Right to Life for being the only major pro-life organization that is not supporting H.R. 490, the Heartbeat Protection Act.

On social media, King said, “The will of 170 Members who have signed on . . is all being stifled and frustrated by one organization: National Right to Life. The Heartbeat is a sure sign of life…why is National Right to Life standing in the way of overwhelmingly supported legislation that will stop abortions?”

“Is Something Wrong Within National Right to Life?” King continued. “How can the nation’s oldest and largest pro-life group oppose the pro-life Heartbeat Bill?”

Congressman King released video clips of remarks he delivered on the floor of the House of Representatives questioning how National Right to Life can justify their failure to support King’s pro-life Heartbeat Protection Act.

According to a statement on his website, King’s office says “It is a curious thing, indeed, that National Right to Life is the only one of 131 major pro-life leaders and organizations that has failed to express support for HR 490, and it is tragic that babies continue to die from abortions as this one organization exerts a unilateral veto over House consideration of King’s legislation. Is there no one on the National Right to Life Board of Directors that supports making a simple, supportive phone call to Speaker Ryan that would save unborn lives? Is there no one within National Right to Life that wishes to publicly support the efforts of the Heartbeat Protection Act’s 170 House cosponsors? Is there no one within National Right to Life that finds it odd that they are on the wrong side of 130 dedicated pro-life leaders and organizations? If not, then there is something seriously wrong within National Right to Life.”

Senator Warren’s running for the White House. She probably a shot caller for this organization. No abortion in Hospitals. It’s not going to happen. Take your business elsewhere.

As for the hospital it was founded by those lovely Catholic Nuns. Very wonderful ladies. Wade into how the campus is structured now. It’s a monopoly. Your selling your house and your going to take what I give you. Now start packing while we rev up the bulldozer. And now I’m paying for someone else healthcare and I don’t even have any!

A lot of hard working peoples lost there homes in those land grabs not to long ago. And it’s not over. But that just water under the bridge now. And just yesterday $695 came out of my pocket for not having health Insurance for the year. Because I can’t afford it. Bastards!

Senator Warren is living in the belly of the beast. Massachusetts.

Vile hatred and she even admitted on TV she’s a nasty women!

Shame his mama didn’t visit family planning. The world would be a better place.

Democrats have gone from being a political party to a mental disorder.

Interesting, since he has no heartbeat himself.

Don’t even think about putting an abortion clinic in the hospital. Even though it’s 6 hospitals in one. What’s wrong with peoples nowadays. They’ve gone off the deep end. This woman Senator Warren she scares me. Never have I seen so much hatred in one person. Damn.

What are you babbling about?

Nothing you are bright enough to understand.

I think you have finally lost in. You have become a bit loony
