Green man says he’s not guilty in felony drunk driving case

OSAGE – A Greene man will stand trial after he was arrested by Osage police on a felony drunk driving charge.

Lee Coltan Marzen, age 26 of Greene, was arrested on June 30 at 4:10 PM by Osage police near North 7th Street and Mechanic Street when he allegedly failed to obey a stop sign. He was charged with felony third-offense operating while intoxicated, failure to obey a stop sign and no valid driver’s license and taken to jail.

Marine has entered a not-guilty plea. He will face a September 20 trial in Mitchell county.

On April 5, 2013, Marzen was arrested by a Cerro Gordo county deputy on a charge of second-offense operating while intoxicated. He was sent to jail for 7 days, had his driver’s license revoked and ordered to pay $3,115.06 in fines and court fees.

Marzen’s first drunk driving conviction was in 2010 in Floyd county after an arrest by the sheriff’s office.
