North Iowa cleaning business donates time to spiff up local school

Cleaning up for the kids

NORTHWOOD, IOWA – A North Iowa cleaning service donated their time to clean an elementary school in Northwood this week.

Ace Professional Cleaning Services donated time and effort on Tuesday, August 8 in a “day of cleaning” as a gesture to give back to those communities in which we live and work.

Employees with the business cleaned the windows at the Northwood Kensett Elementary and the Northwood Kensett High School – and even had fun doing it, business owner Regina Krambeer said afterward.

“We love to pay it forward,” Regina said. “We had the opportunity to do something pretty awesome for our community. We have started to do whatever we can to give back to the community that we live and work in – by donating time and services when possible.”

Regina said her business “started with Northwood because this is where I live, however, we plan on doing this annually and working our way around the school districts in North Iowa to do our part.”

Approximately 500 windows were cleaned Tuesday, just in time for the upcoming school year. The charitable effort helped offset costs to the schools and provided a service that might otherwise have to be passed over.

“It would otherwise cost the school approximately $2,000 in fees if they paid for the services,” Regina said.

Ace Professional Cleaning Services serves the North Iowa area with approximately 400 clients per month doing window cleaning services. They can be reached at 641-430-0979.
