WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Vice President Mike Pence released a statement in response to a New York Times story that says Pence might be preparing to run for President in 2020.
In the statement, Pence called the story posted in Sunday’s New York Times “disgraceful and offensive” and made use of the hot catch-phrase of the day, “fake news”.
Here is Pence’s statement:
Today’s article in the New York Times is disgraceful and offensive to me, my family, and our entire team. The allegations in this article are categorically false and represent just the latest attempt by the media to divide this Administration.
Thanks to the President’s leadership, we are rebuilding the military, ISIS is on the run, and we’ve seen more than 1 million jobs created while the stock market hits all-time highs.
The American people know that I could not be more honored to be working side by side with a president who is making America great again.
Whatever fake news may come our way, my entire team will continue to focus all our efforts to advance the President’s agenda and see him re-elected in 2020. Any suggestion otherwise is both laughable and absurd.
I see there are those hanging on to their hate and not accepting Trumps election. The witch hunt won’t work. Should the Republicrats try and hurt Trump, the people will vote him right back in. Watch 2020 and get ready to get you feelings hurt again.
Why you liberals don’t want America to be great is just plain backward. Trump is already put America on track to success and greatness again. We all see the positive results of his agenda.

If what you say is true, that Republicans will win more and more seats in 2018, then our country is doomed. If one party has that much control, our forefathers fought the Revolutionary War for nothing. They wanted this country to be based on compromise not authoritarian rule. They left England because they had no say in the government. They came here to create a nation that tolerated differences and, when differences arose, some sort of compromise be created. They divided the government into 3 branches so that no single branch could overrule the other. The branches were to check the others and mediate when a branch stepped over the bounds of decency and law. You, and others like you, want it your way and would be perfectly content to watch the other side be massacred or imprisoned. If the right is able to pull off what you seem to believe will happen, then there will be a faction that will advocate for the elimination of progressives. They are there now and their numbers are growing daily. Will the right check this faction? No, because it would decrease their power. We will end up no better than Russia, Syria or any other country that has dictatorial rule. God help us.
And if you want examples of what the country would look like when the libs are back in power take a gander at Illinois and California. And also consider what happened to the national debt under 8 years of Obama. Yep, that’s what the country needs alright. Crat control again.
If you want an example of what this country will look like with all Republicans in office, take a gander at Kansas. Look what a liberal governor has done for Minnesota.

Illinois and California each have state economies which are larger than most country’s. Either state has boatloads of high paying jobs. Any discussion of debt is really worthless if you don’t consider the debtors ability to repay the debt. It’s akin to saying Bill Gates is in dire straits because he has a $10,000 credit card bill. Sure a $10,000 credit card bill is big problem for a typical NIT reader, but to Bill Gates, it’s paid off with just a few hours at the office.
