Congrats to both teams!

This is the result of the coaches working with these kids since they were young and bringing them along through middle school and high school. Unlike the Clear Lake coach that “rode” a group of kids for 3 or 4 years and won state 3 times on their talent and not his coaching. It’s no surprise that CL finished under 500 this year. He actually had to do some coaching and this is the result. And there is no change in sight because he has neglected coaching these younger kids for years. Anyone can coach and win with a talented group but more impressive is a coach who can win by actually coaching and teaching. Learn something Thompson!!

Cowardly snipper.

You, sir, are an idiot and obviously a parent whose kid didn’t get to play as much as you thought he should. There have been plenty of talented high school teams who didn’t win a state championship and it’s not all due to coaching. Sometimes things happen. To win 3 state championships in 4 years is quite an accomplishment and it has something to do with coaching and with the players. A good coach gets the most out of his players. Seth apparently did that 3 times. How many games have you coached?

BTW, Congratulations to both Newman and Mason City High School. Go get them at state.

Well Einstein, Newman and MC lost just as many if not more kids than CL but look what happened to our kids this year. My kid played plenty but thankfully this nightmare year is over. Unless you were there watching him coach your kid for the past few years you should probably keep your mouth shut. The fact that you refer to him as Seth makes me think you’re either Seth himself or his skanky wife. After this season not too many people wish to be on a first name basis with him. It’s no coincidence that after the final few kids of the previous classes graduated that they end up in the tank. Eight errors in a game just “doesn’t happen.” These kids can’t bunt, field or throw properly. This is why Newman is successful year after year. The coaches truly care about the success of their kids and actually teach them FUNDAMENTALS! His glory days are over because his dynasty is gone. Just like you, get gone.

Wow. you’re a real joy. And your kid never flips you off behind your back.

Sounds to me like you are a tad jealous of Seth. Yes, I know him, and no, I am not him. The slur against his wife shows what you are made of, you low class jerk. I pity your son and I am sure he is going to grow up to be just like you and that is the tragedy here.
