How about lowering your rates so we can afford to heat the house ??

Thank you Alliant for your support and investing in our local area communitie and programs.

So Alliant wants to raise our electric rates by approximately 10% and in the meantime they grant money to give themselves a public image boost. Why the hell don’t you cut the rate increase and really give your customers a good perspective of your company?

Fine and dandy! But here in worth county and mitchell county 2 supervisors Merlin Bartz and Stan Walk want the property owners of these 2 counties to pay $60,000,000.00 to have Alliant Energy run a gas pipeline from Joice,Ia -to the casino -then to Bartzs hometown of Grafton,Ia then on to Mitchell, county Ia. What in the hell is going on. The whole deal Smells worse than a pig farm to me. (some would say fishy)
