A Cerro Gordo county deputy stopped a vehicle on Saturday night, April 15, 2017, near Jonquil Avenue and 300th Street in rural Cerro Gordo county. After an investigation, illegal drugs were found. As a result, the driver, 21-year-old Brady Robert Levad of Mason City, was arrested third-offense possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension.

Levad was taken to the Cerro Gordo county jail, where he remains held at this time.

Cerro Gordo deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway 122 and Killdeer Avenue back on the evening of March 4, 2014. Six law enforcement officers responded to the scene. The driver of the car, Brady Levad – then just 18 and living in Forest City – was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine), and unsafe approach to a stationary law enforcement vehicle.
