ROCKWELL, IOWA – Three people are in trouble after the Cerro Gordo sheriff’s office investigated car burglaries at a Rockwell nursing home.
On November 28, 2016 at about 9:00 AM, the Cerro Gordo Sheriff’s Office received a report of vehicles that had been broken into at the Rockwell Community Nursing Home, located at 707 Elm Street E in Rockwell.
During the investigation it was discovered that 23-year-old Blake Peterson of Kensett, Iowa, and 37-year-old Jodi Mohr of Gowrie, Iowa and 26-year-old Logan Warland of Fort Dodge, Iowa were involved in the burglaries.
Warrants have been issued for Peterson and Mohr for Aiding and Betting (Agg Misdemeanor) with a Bond of $2000 Cash/Surety and a warrant for Warland has been issued for two counts of 3rd Degree Burglary 2nd or Subsequent Offense (Class D Felony), Ongoing Criminal Conduct (Class B Felony) and Driving While Barred (Agg Misdemeaor) with a total bond of $37,000 Cash/Surety Bond. All assisting agencies are actively investigating charges in their juristiction as well.
Warland is currently being held in the Webster County Jail and Peterson in the Worth County Jail.
