MASON CITY – A Sheffield woman who couldn’t control her car this summer as she drove drunk was busted for public intox in Mason City Wednesday afternoon.
Terri Ann Ballhagen, age 60 of Sheffield, was at the Mohawk Square in downtown Mason City Wednesday afternoon when law enforcement was alerted to her presence. She was then arrested for public intoxication and taken to the county jail where she was booked and held on bond. She remained there Thursday morning.
Ballhagen was pulled over by a Franklin county deputy back on June 7, 2016. After an investigation, she was charged with failure to maintain control of her vehicle and open container of alcohol. Nearly two months later, a charge of first-offense public intoxication was brought against her. She was later guilty of all these crimes and had to pay over $2,000 in fines and court fees, had her license revoked and put on probation for a year. A 30-day jail sentence was suspended except for 2 days. Her public intoxication arrest could be a violation of that probation.
Just celebrating a TRUMP victory over the demoralrats.
Christmas Cheer got her!
So did the ugly stick. Beer goggles may not be enough.
