NEW YORK – Last night, President-elect Donald Trump blasted the antics of the popular left-leaning TV show Saturday Night Live, calling the program “unwatchable” after yet another Alec Baldwin skit mocking the soon-to-be leader of the Free World.
“Sad,” Mr. Trump tweeted to his Twitter account, as he apparently looked on as Alec Baldwin on live television mocked his “tweeting” and use of the semi-popular social media tool.
“Just tried watching Saturday Night Live,” Mr. Trump started out.
“Unwatachable!” he declared. “Totally biased, not funny and the Baldwin impersonation just can’t get any worse.”
Baldwin, who CBS News has called an “outspoken liberal” did a masterful job in poking fun at the think-skinned business mogul, who is waiting to take the World’s most-powerful position. Baldwin was in full Trump mode, with the wacky hair, the suit, the talk, everything. “Oops I did it again,” Baldwin chanted as he re-tweeted random people. “I’m going to re-build the swamp,” he continued, apparently referred to the fact that Trump is appointing Wall Streeters and others to powerful positions in Washington.
It was apparently too much for Mr. Trump to take, as he unleashed the punishing Tweet.
To add insult to injury for Mr. Trump, SNL marched out his top strategist Steve Bannon as the grim reaper, with Mr. Trump telling him he “looks great.” Kate McKinnon portrayed Kellyanne Conway, Mr. Trump’s campaign leader and spokeswoman.
