Steve King’s border wall would be eleven feet tall topped with barbed wire

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Iowa Congressman Steve King has a vision for a border wall to keep illegals out.

“Build the Wall,” the re-elected and controversial Republican Congressman said recently via social media. He offered a diagram design of a barrier he called “simple, efficient, & cost effective.” It would be over 11 feet tall, 6 inches wide and topped with razor-sharp barbed wire.

Ten years ago, Rep. King did a demonstration on the House Floor in Washington, D.C., and literally shoed how the wall might be built. He brought construction materials to the demo and showed how to piece it together.

This previously hypothetical wall is now very possible after the election of Donald Trump and the sweeping victory by Republicans into both chambers of Congress.

After the historic election this past November 8, King told Iowa Public Television that
“we’ll have to also appropriate some in order that we get a good jump start on the wall. He (Trump) wants to make it beautiful and I say let me build it, I’ll make it work, I’ll make it big, you worry about beautiful, we could have a good wall.”

King has been a vocal critic of illegal aliens – mainly from south of the border – entering the United States.  In controversial remarks in 2013, told Newsmax Magazine that illegal aliens have “calves the size of cantaloupes because they’re hauling 75 pounds of marijuana across the desert” while they weigh just 130 pounds.

King told Newsmax that the immigration debate has created “three groups of supporters in the United States.  First, there are the elitists,” King told Newsmax. “Elitists see that they should have access to cheap labor to clean their homes, mow their lawns, and take care of their gardens. The second group is Democratic power brokers. They see a tremendous advantage to the Democratic Party that turns us into a one-party system if they do what they’re trying to do with the Gang of Eight bill in the Senate.

“And the third group is those employers of illegals who benefit from cheap labor at the expense of the taxpayers who are subsidizing them through welfare programs.”

Many Democratic leaders have found King’s remarks to be offensive and do not support a wall as King envisions.

Why do people keep voting for him?? Ick !!!!

Because he does things for the state. Do your research.

Name one thing he has done for this state.

This is just stupid 12 ft high wall with razor wire. A 14 ft ladder and a pair of bolt cutters or a cordless grinder and you are in. Solving illegal immigration is easy. Fine the people that hire them. Or put the military down there. A friend of mine whose son is in the service says they are bored to death on base. Turns these guys loose on the boarder. Best job in the world is border patrol on the canadian border. A wall and guard towers every hundred yds armed with a 50 caliber could do the trick. Hell just some towers with 50 caliber up there and it won’t take long for the word to get out. Wouldn’t even need to man them. Operate them like drones.

A smart wall would be better, have the technocrats design it, forgot the elite sorcerers do not want a wall that works only one that gives that illusion, they need to keep people engaged in their matrix/false reality they have created for the Goyim/herd.

after it is built which side of the wall do we put King on??

Enforce rules we have first.Heavy fines to employers and people who hire them.Problem solved starved out of the country .Then who does the work .Well just maybe if they have been working, not been in any trouble of any kind and taking care of a family somehow that should help some kind of legal status, but this would be limited to just Mexicans from Mexico. The real problems illegals are coming from not so nice of areas, that are not here to try and work (or so called steal jobs ).No this type is here not to work but to try and KILL US! That is where the real problems are.

Build a pen with his design, lock him in until next election.

Lets give it a test and build it around the north end.

The wall is a dumb idea they will just go under it. Besides Trump promised the wall would not cost us anything Mexico is going to pay for it. Bet Not

Steve King is an embarrassment to this state and the people who live here who are sane.

Steve King needs to resign. He is a true embarrassment to Iowa and the country. Also the wall is a waste of money and time. No wall is going to stop a human wanting to come into this country. What a joke!

Let him pay for it! They will just go under it or whatever, they will find a way. No one else will want to do these migrant jobs and food costs will go up.

A young bean that eats a lot of spicy chili could leap that king wall – leave it to Trump – do it once the right way

You might think he is a nut, and I somewhat agree. However, a lot of people must like him because he was re-elected.

OK, I think Steve King is a nut but I have to admit his wall idea makes a lot of sense. It looks like it would work and looks cost effective.
