NEW YORK – President-elect Donald Trump took to Twitter and blasted the cast of a play who he says was “rude” to his vice president, who was in the audience.
Friday night, Vice President-elect Mike Pence attended the Broadway play ‘Hamilton’ and was met with some boos and cheers as he arrived. After the show, one of the actors, Brandon Dixon, delivered the following statement to Pence on behalf of the show:

Trump got wind of the incident, and tweeted some words and demanded an apology.
“The Theater must always be a safe and special place. The cast of Hamilton was very rude last night to a very good man, Mike Pence. Apologize!” Trump steamed.

Pence had no immediate reaction to the incident.
