DES MOINES – State Senator Amanda Ragan of Mason City will help lead the Iowa Legislature over the next two years as Senate Democratic Whip.
Senator Ragan was elected by the other Democratic members of the Iowa Senate during a Statehouse meeting November 19. As Whip, she will assist the Democratic Leader in assessing caucus members’ positions on bills and amendments.
“I’m grateful for the support of my fellow legislators, and I look forward to the work ahead,” said Ragan. “We must help Iowa families succeed.”
The 2017 session of the 87th Iowa General Assembly will convene on Monday, January 9, 2017.
Yeah whip them into shape , start by cracking down on the HoBo’s that hang out down town mc by closing that soup kitchen . Don’t feed the beast and stop driving him around in the ditch.
